Basketball Goals For Sale Tips on How to Install a Simple Basketball Goals For Kids

Basketball is the most played games for American Children nowadays, it is good to have basketball goals in your house. It will gives endless fun for hyperactive kids to release their energy and also a good form of practice and exercise.
Installing a basketball goals is not a very difficult to do, and doing this with your family will be rather fun as it provides the kids to learn and also let them associates more with the game. So what are the tips on installing a simple basketball goal?
In installing a basketball goal in your yard, the first thing is finding the best location. Where do you want to install it, the front porch or the backyard, so first find the exact location you want it to be fixed. I would advise you to find a flat location that is even. Bumpy or sloppy areas are not advisable. Who wants to play on uneven terrains or uphill slop thus it is more logical that your basketball goals are on flat grounds. Secondly is choosing the types of goals, I have written several post on the different goals available in the market, I do hope that it will help you find the
right kind of goals that suited your kids.

For kids, I would advise you to purchase a portable basketball goal as they are relatively cheap compared to others and also easy to assemble. They are also very suitable for kids. You may start with a portable goal first and as they are keener on it, you could change to a perment goal. Permanent goals are also more costly. In installing basketball portable able goals all you need is all purpose gravel or loose stones, a plum line shovel or maybe a post digger depending what you have and the basketball goal you purchased.

The next step after having all the above is you dig a posthole, the diameter I advise should be at least three times larger than the post and the depth should be like one third of the length of the post. After digging, you just need to place gravel you prepared earlier, this is to ensure better water drainage during raining season. Then you install in the post in the centre of the hole and make sure they are level and when they are in good position, pour concrete filling up the hole. You might want to stop around 3 inches before they are filled up to check on the position of the post. If they are not right, make some alteration before you fill up the concrete.
You are about to complete your task. After all this, you pour water on the dry concrete and allow it to soak to ensure they are well. Wait for a few hours before fixing the billboards and nets. In waiting for the post to harden, I would advise you to fix the backboard, rims and nets to optimize your time of waiting. Most basketball backboard are easily assemble, just follow instructions given.

After a few hours, your basketball goals should be ready for fixing of the backboard. Make sure that you measure the right height you want the backboard to be installed, a height that are suitable for your kids. Again, I have written an article earlier on portable and adjustable basketball goals backboard. The standard height would be around 10 feet above the ground.
So that’s all about fixing basketball goals for kids. I do hope my above tips are beneficiary to you and the ready basketball goals will provide your kids and family many hours of fun.
